Individual Projects are to be
promoted.

Teaching related projects are
to be undertaken. The project should in some way help the prospective teacher
to improve his knowledge, understanding or skills of English language teaching/
learning.
Sample ideas for projects
1. Study of literary and biographical details of one or many authors in
the prescribed school texts (preferably the less familiar authors)
2. Preparing a resource unit
3. Preparing a multimedia package
4. Critical analysis of school text books
5. Exploring online ELT sites
6. Exploring online teaching resources like blogs, podcasts, audio/
video resources
7. Preparing own teaching resources
like blogs, podcasts, audio/ video resources
8. Making a collection of teaching / learning resources to teach
specific areas of language like grammar , LSRW, spelling etc
9. Analyzing the theme in a particular unit and its impact on students
